A recent decision from the New York Supreme...
When you experience a data breach, it may seem like the end of the world. It’s not when you have an experienced professional team ready to help you deal with the breach and get your organization up and running again. We have first hand experience dealing with the challenges that you are facing and will help you navigate the them.
Our accessible and motivated team possesses experience and talent in pre-breach planning and compliance, breach response, regulatory investigation and management, and privacy litigation defense.
Services include:
Pre-Breach Planning and Compliance. In the current legal and risk environment, more and more organizations are proactively preparing for the inevitable data privacy event. Depending upon industry sector, certain types of organizations are also legally required to have privacy and security policies and procedures in place and provide documented and frequent training of staff on these policies.
Breach Response. When an organization experiences a potential or actual data security compromise, it is required by law – and sometimes by contract – to take certain steps to investigate and respond to the event, typically in a very short period of time. We provide crisis management services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Breach response services include identification and direction of an appropriate investigation into the incident, often times involving the services of a forensic investigator and law enforcement, determination of disclosure obligations an entity has to individuals, regulators, and other third-parties, and timely compliance with such disclosure and offering obligations.
Privacy Litigation Defense. If you are sued because of a cyber breach, we are ready to represent you in Court.
